A native of Spain, Jessica brings a rare blend of global fluency and human-centered advocacy to her work at IFLG. She earned her law degree with high honors (Matrícula de Honor) from the University of Barcelona Faculty of Law and was admitted to the Barcelona Bar Association in 1995, where she holds an active license as an attorney. She is also an International Associate of the American Bar Association.
Early in her career, Jessica gained experience in civil litigation, contributing to complex contract disputes, liability claims, and family law matters, a foundation that continues to inform her clear-eyed approach to negotiation and strategy.
Over her career, she has held senior leadership roles within the Assisted Reproductive Technology field, cultivating trusted partnerships with IVF clinics and legal professionals across Europe, Canada, and Latin America. She provides multilingual, culturally attuned support to international clients, particularly those navigating language barriers, ensuring clarity and confidence at every stage of their journey.
Her understanding of international law was further shaped by study at The Hague Academy of International Law, held at the Peace Palace in the Netherlands.
A frequent international speaker, Jessica has helped countless families better understand the landscape of U.S. surrogacy. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Catalan, with working proficiency in Portuguese. Her professional acumen is complemented by a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology, deepening her capacity for thoughtful, compassionate client care.
