This passion took root during his 11-year tenure as the Executive Director of The American Fertility Association (The AFA), where he played a pivotal role in advocating for and supporting individuals and couples seeking reproductive assistance.
Under his leadership, The AFA became a vital resource, providing education, advocacy, and emotional support for those facing infertility and considering alternative family-building methods such as in vitro fertilization, surrogacy, or egg donation. His work in this field allowed him to build meaningful connections with both ART professionals and intended parents, reinforcing his commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives.
After his time at The AFA, Ken authored a book, “The Power of Promise: how to win and keep customers by telling the truth about your brand.” Ken channeled his expertise and leadership skills into a new direction, helping owner-founder CEOs grow and scale their businesses. His consulting work spanned a wide array of industries, including technology, retail, construction, medicine, and non-profit sectors.
Ken’s ability to understand the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs led him to develop a 5-Step Framework for creating a self-managed company, as he coached owner-founder CEOs on strategy, business development, operational efficiency, and leadership. His diverse experience in different sectors made him a sought-after public speaker and consultant, particularly for companies at critical junctures in their growth.
Today, as CEO of IFLG, Ken has found a way to bring both of his passions together by working in the ART space while providing strategic guidance for the firm. This combination of expertise has positioned IFLG as a unique firm that understands the importance of growth; whether helping clients to build a family, developing team members personally and professionally, or scaling the business.
