Nevada Passes Domestic Partnership Law

The State of Nevada has passed a Domestic Partnership law, effective October 1, 2009. The bill, as enrolled, specifically provides that a “domestic partnership is not a marriage for the purposes of Section 21 of Article 1 of the Nevada Constitution.
